NetExpert for Visibility & Issue Resolution at Scale
OSI NetExpert is an OSS platform that helps service providers manage and act on network
events before they can impact customer experience. NetExpert includes a flexible, protocol-agnostic platform that can serve as a manager of managers (MOM), as well as a selection of related applications for specific OSS functionality such as Fault Management, Performance Management and Service Activation. Built on the TM Forum Reference Model, NetExpert combines out-of-the-box simplicity – including pre-built code and dashboards – with options for rich customization to provide crucial service insights and the ability to act on them. NetExpert applications leverage a common information model and integrated database that have proven scalability and reliability.
Battle-Tested in Production Deployments Worldwide
The OSI NetExpert platform is in production across 70+ service provider network operations centers
(NOCs) worldwide, including mobile and wireline deployments. NetExpert currently manages hundreds of millions of network elements, from routers to satellites – and even door alarms. Recent use cases include:
- Providing the nationwide service assurance platform for wifi hot spot services, for a large US
- Modeling the potential service impact of adding televoting for mobile subscribers, for a European
- Automation to detect and prevent site intrusions across 13,000 sites, for a Malaysian wireless &
wireline service provider
- Managing uptime assurance for national security phone services, for a US wireline & POTs provider
