Installation
OSI can offer both standard and custom packages to ensure your first experiences with NETeXPERT products and solutions are successful. We provide basic packages for installation and configuration, VSA development, policy development, and individual product turn up. All packages include knowledge transfers between our team and yours to maintain your time-to-market schedule and efficiently manage your ROI.

Adapters
OSI brings years of experience in developing bidirectional Service, Fault, Performance, Activation, and Discovery Vendor Specific Adapters (VSA's) across IP, Wireline, and Wireless domains. These VSA's leverage NETeXPERT gateways which are bi-directional protocol-independent and support the following protocol agents including but not limited to:
  • shell,
  • telnet,
  • TCP/IP,
  • X.25,
  • SNMP,
  • XML,
  • Corba, and
  • CMIP

OSI has extensive knowledge with implementing all NETeXPERT gateway types. OSI will also support the NETeXPERT Gateway Agents which provide lightweight gateway functionality for lower cost hardware and remote managed services through firewalls.

Custom
NETeXPERT Command Center extensions, Object Browser Extensions, custom reports, and custom Java applications are areas that require creativity and experience to provide users the most effective way in presenting information to operations as well as executives.

One example of a custom project which became a product is Web Alert. OSI's Web Alert is a web-based alert display for NETeXPERT, which provides even greater reach and visibility to NETeXPERT Alert Management functions any time and anywhere.

Other custom programs included Gateway Central and Version Control Distribution System. Both of these were customer funded applications which then became value-added products.

Integration
Custom and third party OSS applications are being developed and integrated to support today's next generation needs. Existing legacy OSS systems as well as new systems are being assessed, consolidated, replaced, and integrated to manage hybrid legacy/next generation environments which deliver communication services. Integration of these systems is critical to reduce operational expenditures, time-to-market, service delivery times, etc.

OSI provides software development resources to help leverage Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, and OSS/J in integrating OSS management functions. OSI also provides project management services focused on managing these timely integrations to meet your business needs.
