Sobha Renaissance acquires German Telecoms software company. A multi-million Euro acquisition with additional investment outlay...
SRIT has acquired Munich-based Billing Components AG, strengthening its offering in the Telecoms Operational and Business domain. Billing Components AG are the creators of software components for the telecoms market in the areas of customer care, billing & collections, rating, usage collection, provisioning and inter-carrier reconciliation and settlements. The exact value of the acquisition is, however, not revealed. This multi-million euro acquisition will expand SRIT's offerings in providing several business software solutions to all kinds of Telecommunication and Communication Service Providers, be it Telematics, GSM, CDMA, Fixed Wireline, IP, VoIP, WiMAX, 3G, GPRS or UMTS service providers. SRIT CEO Madhu Nambiar said this acquisition brings in marquee customers like T-Mobile, Eronet, Vodafone-Si.mobil, Cosmoron, Thales in France, United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Australia, Bahrain and Bosnia.

International publication of book on Mobile Computing by SRIT’s Group Technology Consultant…
Group Technology Consultant Asoke Talukder’s book Mobile Computing has been published internationally by reputed publishers McGraw-Hill, USA. The book is featured on Amazon.com (priced at US $ 99). The book has also been incorporated into university courses on Mobile Computing at various reputed universities. For instance, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU), Tirunelveli, has adopted this book in the newly introduced course on Mobile Computing under the B.Sc. Computer Science programme. About the Author

Asoke is currently the DaimlerChrysler Chair Professor at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIITB).

Continuing its commitment towards quality healthcare products and solutions, SRIT’s xTransEDI is now a Claredi certified product. Claredi is a leading provider of web-based HIPAA transactions testing and compliance certification services.
This certification from Claredi would facilitate all SRIT customers a provision to independently verify that xTransEDI is capable of producing transactions in compliance with HIPAA guidelines on transaction syntax, data content, code set validity, HIPAA Implementation Guide requirements, and transaction functionality.

SRIT signs up with Vejthani Hospital, Bangkok
SRIT has signed a contract with Vejthani Hospital, Bangkok to deploy Healthcare Information System (HIS), Patient Relationship Management (PRM) and Business Intelligence (BI). The implementation is expected to commence by September 2005 and will be carried out in a phased manner.

SRIT has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Welcare World Health Systems of the Varkey Group, Dubai. As part of this agreement, SRIT will implement its state-of-the-art Enterprise Hospital Information System - Renaissance Care – in Varkey Group’s hospitals in two phases:

Phase I:

SRIT has entered into a strategic partnership with Kvazar-Micro, a leading Ukraine-based knowledge intensive creator of software and hi-tech solutions. According to the MoU signed by the two parties, they will leverage and complement each other's skills, competencies and strengths in developing new products, developing end-to-end IT solutions, further developing SRIT's presence in India, the Middle East region and other markets. Kvazar-Micro will leverage the skills of SRIT in IT and SI projects in Russia, Ukraine, other CIS and CEE countries.

SRIT is the world's first SSE CMM Level 5 Company
SRIT is the world's first SSE CMM Level 5 Company, the highest level in IT security, based on the International Systems Security Engineering Association (ISSEA) System Security Engineering Capability Maturity Model Appraisal Method (SSAM). This denotes that SRIT follows process orientation and is continuously improving. This was achieved after the successful completion of the audits conducted by auditors from BSI (British Standards Institute), UK on Jan 17, 2004.

The SSE-CMM addresses security-engineering activities that span the entire trusted product or secure system life cycle, including concept definition, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, installation, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.

SRIT has announced the strategic acquisition of the Healthcare division of Kale Consultants Ltd. (Kale), a provider of enterprise application product solutions and outsourced services world-wide. SRIT has acquired Kale's Healthcare division to enhance its own product basket to specifically address two and three tier hospitals in India and worldwide.
