Course Overview
Students begin the course by learning about the Distributed Management Policies (DMP) system. In the course exercises, students use the DMP GUIs to create, configure, and test their own DMP system. This includes learning to create policies using templates and data paths. This DMP system serves as the framework for creating and implementing Advanced Fault Management Policies (AFM). After testing and trouble shooting their DMP system, students create, implement and troubleshoot AFM policies. These policies enable efficient alert management, including policies that:
-
Delay Alert Generation
