Course Overview

Students begin the course with an introduction to the DMP Template Builder and learning about the relationship between templates and distributed management policies. This is followed by an overview of DMP plug- ins. In the course exercises, students use the Template Builder to create, configure, and test templates in their own DMP system. This includes learning to build templates using plug- in operational methods. After testing and trouble shooting their templates, students create, deploy and troubleshoot policies from the templates built in class.
